Google Pixel 4 specifications leaked: 90Hz display, 6GB RAM, more


We know Google is packing its forthcoming flagships with upgraded cameras and game-changing features to take on premium offerings like the Note 10 duo and iPhone 11 series. And now, the full specifications of the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL have leaked (via 9to5Google), revealing top-of-the-line features like a 90Hz display, 6GB RAM, stereo speakers and more. Here's everything to know.

Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL: At a glance Design The Pixel 4 series will feature a notch-less display with slim bezels on three sides and a thick top bezel. Google has adopted this "forehead design" to pack the Soli radar chip and IR cameras essential for Motion Sense and Face Unlock features. On the rear, the company is replacing the glossy+matte design with a clean-looking monochrome glass panel that'll house the dual-camera setup.

The best looks primed to get better Camera:
The camera on the Pixel phones has been top-notch and it's set to get even better. Going by the information, the dual-lens rear unit on the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will come with a 12MP standard lens and a 16MP telephoto lens. Reportedly, Google is also developing a DSLR-like attachment for the Pixel that may be offered as an optional accessory.

According to the leak, the Pixel 4 will feature a 5.8-inch full-HD+ OLED screen while the XL model will offer a larger and sharper 6.3-inch QHD+ OLED display. Moreover, both screens will also support 90Hz refresh rate which Google may call as "Smooth Display". This high refresh rate will offer a smoother scrolling and swiping experience, more fluid animations, and better gaming experience.

Under the hood Internals:
The Pixel 4 series will be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 855 chipset, paired with upto 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. Under the hood, the standard Pixel 4 will pack a 2,800mAh battery while the XL model will have a 3,700mAh battery. Lastly, both handsets will come with stereo speakers, Titan M security chip, revamped Google Assistant and Android Q OS.

Coming this Fall Fact:
We expect the Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL to arrive sometime in October at Google's 4th annual Made by Google event. And alongside the flagship phone, we also expect to see other hardware developments including new Google Home and Nest devices.
