Samsung Galaxy S10+ full specification
DISPLAYThe Galaxy S10+ is Samsung’s premiere Galaxy S10 with a 6.3-inch AMOLED HDR+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection – Samsung is calling it Dynamic which indirectly means the Galaxy S10 display is brighter and offers punchier colours (and when paired with HDR10+ content, it is capable of offering a cinematic viewing experience) in comparison to the Galaxy S9.
CAMERA
The Galaxy S10+ has the same variable aperture primary rear camera specs as last year’s Galaxy S9, although Samsung says it is using a new sensor. It is a 12MP wide (77-degree field of view) sensor with variable f/1.5-f/2.4 aperture and dual pixel OIS. Dual aperture will basically allow the Galaxy S10+ to shoot photos with more detail in low light (f/1.5), and photos without any metering issues when lighting is more than adequate (f/2.4). It is paired with a 12MP telephoto sensor with OIS (again like the Galaxy S9) for 2X optical zoom. Samsung is throwing in an additional 16MP ultra-wide (123-degree field of view) sensor with f/2.2 aperture and fixed focus in the Galaxy S10+.
On the front, the Galaxy S10+ has two cameras embedded into the display - one 10MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture and a secondary 8MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture for depth sensing.
BATTERY & MEMORY
the Galaxy S10+ comes with up to 8GB RAM and up to 512GB storage, and a 4,100mAh battery. Samsung has also announced a maxed-out variant of the Galaxy S10+ with a ceramic back, 12GB RAM and 1TB storage – it will be available in black and white.
The Galaxy S10 is essentially the Galaxy S10+ with a smaller 6.1-inch display and 3,400mAh battery, up to 8GB RAM and up to 512GB storage, and a single punch-hole selfie camera.
PRICE
A lot of this has to do with the Galaxy S10’s price in India – it’s in line with the phone’s global pricing (unlike the Apple iPhone that costs gazillions more). The Galaxy S10E has been launched in India at Rs 55,900. The Galaxy S10 at Rs 66,900. The Galaxy S10+ at Rs 73,900.
